Hello,
I would also love Tradingview data feed in Multicharts!
I don't know of any MC compatible data feed provider that provides data for stock exchanges around the globe (they all seem to list US exchanges only) besides IB, which has very poor historical data.
MC team, is this doable?

Hello,
Is it possible to access the profit/loss from within an indicator and not a strategy?
Is there something similar to strategy's CurrentPosition.OpenProfit?
What I want to achieve is simple in theory, I want to add to the Scanner window the PnL of a symbol in case I have an open position.

Re: Manual Trading Performance Reports - how to reset it? [SOLVED]
Hi MK, If you want to delete only the Trading Performance Report then try deleting the content of the following folder (I would suggest to back up the files first) %ProgramData%\TS Support\MultiCharts .NET64\TradingCenter\Storage\strategy_orders\ (If your windows installation drive is C then c:\Prog...

Re: Windows 8 [SOLVED]
Hi gpw797, I have had similar error in the past and it was due to a corrupted download I suppose. I downloaded again the installer, deleted all registry entries made by MC and had no problem installing after. You could try that as well. Another tought... when you installed Windows 8 did you set Smar...

Multiple data bug [SOLVED]
Hi, In regular MC I was able to use the same indicator on 2 data's on the same chart. Latest .NET beta gives an error. I will use as example the 'Trendlines_automatic' study to reproduce it. Load up a 5 min chart and insert the indicator on it with default settings. Insert another instrument on the ...

Hi Henry, Thank you, I will read more into it. Actually all I wanted to do is to save the reports periodically. I will go a bit off topic but I want to share my experience as I am sure some might find it useful in case they want to switch to the new OS. I have Windows 8 64 bit installed and MS Offic...

RINA XML [SOLVED]
Hi, I do not have Microsoft Office, I read it is needed to save/create the performance report and then open it in any other excel reader. Out of curiosity I saved it in XML. I realize it might sound like a silly question, but how does one actually use the XML RINA generated performance report? Thank...

Re: MultiCharts .NET 8.1 Beta 1 Release
Hi DRCM, Good afternoon, I think this bunch of numbers and letters doesn`t look very useful. Is there any way to hide historical order texts, but leave arrows on the chart? Thanks, Right-click on the chart and select Format Chart Trading, go to Historical Orders tab and select "Order label" style, s...

Re: Trading Performance Report possible bug
Hi again, I just got across a situation in which I need to leave a pending order running overnight. I have a trade open and I have a Limit order to close it. There is an issue with LMAX's orders. All the GTC orders sent from MC appear as GFD in LMAX, thus getting cancelled at midnight. Can this issu...

Hi,
I was wondering why is the same position shown so many times in the OPT window?
Is there a way to make them show up one time each?
I have attached a screenshot.
Thanks,

Hi MK, The DoubleGreater method is a public STATIC bool according to the .net help. It is a built in function so I don't seem to have access to it. I am not sure whether you have the help for .net, if not, you can download it from here http://www.multicharts.com/downloads/PowerLanguage.NET.chm If yo...

Hi Henry, I always trade from the exact same chart. it would also be nice to have some more brokers to choose from for spot forex traders I couldn't agree more, or simply a connection to Hotspot, Currenex, Integral, Flexxtrade.... because that way the door is opened to brokers that deal with them. I must say I remember reading somewhere that a conne...

Hi Holya, Should have been more specific, sorry about that. In the regular MC's Powerlanguage there is an option in Tools->Protect Study. That way your studies can be used but can't be modified. I know it's not a broker discussion forum but I thought to give just a little heads'up. I have been trading in the past with Dukascopy. Re: Is MC's great backtest engine pointless for forex trader
Hi, There would be a third option, LMAX, if you are NOT a US citizen. It is a good broker as spread and execution, the only really annoying problem with them is the freezing charts in MC which I hope they fix soon. I must say I have to agree with you, I suppose MC is limited at being only a charting...

Trading Performance Report possible bug
Hi, Both regular MC and .NET corrupts the Trading Performance Report on my end. I trade manually with LMAX as a broker. This is how I can reproduce it: buy 1 contract, then another one and another until a total of 4 buy contracts are open, size 1 each. After that sell 1, then sell 2 and finally sell...

I see in the beta 8.1 it even disappeared the Pivot function as my indicator wouldn't load and did not recognized it. Pivot_High is a good resource, I must have missed it in earlier version.
Thank you.
