Description

All over the place in all sorts of software (including MultiCharts) they have these popups which have a check box you can check to turn off the popup so you do not see it again. However that creates a problem if you change your mind. Of course you could reinstall the software but no one in their right mind will use that method to switch the popup on again. So why not have a database for these so the user can see the list. It would show the message, where it appears and the selected settings including the default setting and the current setting. This should be a searchable list so the user can find the popup then switch it back on if they wish. You may have seen a popup and did not turn it off when you wish you had turned it off. You could go into the list, find it and turn it off in advance of the next time it popups up. Anyway this is what I do in my database software that I use to control multicharts and my execution software. I use it a lot. Most of my messages can be found in that single database. They can be found by groups as well since some of them come in sequences.
