Thanks geektrader, but this function closes all open positions and cannot be attached to individual positions, confirmed here : http://forum.tssupport.com/viewtopic.php?t=6680&highlight=barssinceentry so I am looking for a function that will do this, or, the approach I should take to do this (e.g. a...

Can someone point me towards a bar count function or similar in MC. I am testing a strategy that enters on successive days while the trend is established. I would like to evaluate results using exits nBars from entries, where n is constant. The function “BarsSinceEntry” only counts from the bar of t...

Solution Found:

LiveSupport provided the following solution - change the time frame from 1 day to 24 hour - this solved the problem. Apparently there is a bug with selecting 1 day.

Incomplete history displayed on Charts

Hi Forum, I am trialling MC 5.5 and using Windows XP. I have imported an ASCII file with OHLC minute data for the GBPUSD going back to 2001. When I chart this symbol SubChart#1 always shows an incomplete history. For example, if I chart Daily data, I get only 710 bars displayed going back to 04/2007...
