Solution Found:

LiveSupport provided the following solution - change the time frame from 1 day to 24 hour - this solved the problem. Apparently there is a bug with selecting 1 day.

The EU data imported fine. I have plotted it at various timeframes using just SubChart#1, no indicators. There are no indicators on the chart, and all the data plots on SubChart#2, never on SubChart#1.
