Thanks a lot for TJ and Henry's help.
I will try to reinstall the windows and multicharts.

Re: Any way to force saving the quote to database?
I don't know why but the cache is not saved even if the computer is restarted. It will do that some time ago. But not at least in recent months' crash. Actually just about two months ago, I have experience a quite disastrous error of the system because of this: An empty chart (with all historical da...

Any way to force saving the quote to database?
Multicharts is the most stable trading platform I have used so far. But still there are times that the multicharts will crash. (e.g. loading too many charts) But to me the most head-aching problem is after multicharts is crash, even multicharts is restarted and then close again, the quote collected ...

I am experiencing the same issued when trading HSI futures with eSignal. I suspect it's the problem of eSignal because I have seen similar problem in eSignal in other symbols. Re: IB Combo Order
Yes, actually I have used this TWSLink a few years ago when it is still free. But I have just used that for reading stock price without loading the chart and reading Level 2 data. It's a convenient wrapper of the IB API that can do almost anything that IB can do.

Re: Backtesting of IOG support more than one data series?
Thanks a lot for your reply. Even though it's is bit disappointing as I am doing HFT, IOG with bar magnifier is very important to give me a more reliable estimate of strategy's profit.
Looking forward the MC development team can consider add this feature in future versions.

Backtesting of IOG support more than one data series?
Does anyone know whether MC.NET can support the backtesting of IOG (with bar magnifier) when there are more than one data series? In traditional MC, it only support the 1st data series. If supported, in there any limitation on the series type? ( Just regular or it also support data series chart type...

MC64bit connect to IB gateway issue [SOLVED]
I have been using MC32bit with the IB gateway for quite a long time because of the "gateway"s relatively low overhead and no need to change the auto logout time every 12 hours. But after switching to 64bit MC, I noted the communication between MC and IB gateway is kind of tricky: I have upgrade both...

Re: Transferring data to MC8 64
Received the analysis result from Katrin that the error is caused by my corrupted database. But it's really strange that I can actually access the data in the 32bit quote manager. Now I am exporting the data from the 32bit quote manager and imported the into the 64bit one.

Multiple data series with different session time issues.
I have an intra-day strategy that use more that one data series from different markets and close all position before the end of the day. In simulation, everything works fine. Re: What component of MultiCharts do you want to be optimize
To me, charting, backtesting, optimization of MC are already pretty good. And I expect further optimization won't make too much difference. If there is one single feature I want to optimize. It's the delay from after receiving the quote, to generate the relevant chart and signal to broker. Because t...

I've just checked the TradingServer log. My one is still around 500k at the moment. And unluckily, stop the logging doesn't help. So I'll tried the 7.1 Beta first as that seems a bit simpler than the roll back method.
