Best way to compare to Buy & Hold Return in the performance report
The default behavior is to buy a fixed number of shares/cash. How can I set my strategy to buy all shares that my account can buy (no margin)? I believe Buy & Hold Return in the performance report buys partial shares.

Re: Saving real-time data
TJ,I would have no problem using the local time of a PC frequently updating from a NTP server.
Multicharts support, can you confirm what end of bar clock you currently use with IB.

Saving real-time data
From my observations, Multicharts overwrites Interactive Brokers real-time data when "download missing historical data" is on. Support has asked me to open a ticket in the PM group. Please vote for this item because: 1. From my tests, the real-time data and the backfill data back test differently. 2...

Portfolio Backtesterter
Can I run Portfolio Backtester and the MultiCharts.exe at the the same time? When I do, I get this message:
"Close all chart and QuoteManager windows and try to set Data server mode again"
This happens when I hit backtest.

SSD Drive
I just added a SSD to load large CSVs and it works great. I'm worried about Write Endurance. I would like to setup Multicharts to write the information from my data feed to my regular hard drive. I guess I would have to move the database? Can I change how often Multicharts writes to disk? What are o...

buy or sell signal displayed a window
It would be helpful, if a buy or sell signal displayed a window that said "buy 500 shares of xyz." This would happen whether auto trading is on or off. I'm going to add alerts to my code, but it would be good if Multicharts did it automatically. I searched the forum and If I missed something, please...
