Hi guys,
My settings for chart trading orders seem to be activated but I can't see them on the chart when I'm sending an order.
Am I missing something ?
Thanks.

Auto-Trade Multiple Symbols with the Scanner
Hi,
I've seen we're now able to auto-trade multiple instruments through the scanner in MC .Net.
Can we do that with the regular version of MC as well ?
If not what is the best way to trade a basket of stocks without openning all the charts ?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Portfolio Trading
I second this request :
- we need to be able to size position within a portfolio of several instruments.
- exclusively running a strategy from a chart is very cumbersome.
Thanks.

Re: Historical Data With Interactive Brokers
Had the issue again this morning, re-started the computer and it works...
I'll come to the chat room once I get the issue.
Thanks.

Re: Missing Bars with Interactive Brokers feed
Thanks for your answer Henry ! It seems that using TWS 918 and applying a local session template (to get the bar closing the correct day) work better. However, TWS prevents from running a strategy 24h/24 and it brings a lot of alert windows. Has IB given a target time to fix the issue ? I haven't fo...

Historical Data With Interactive Brokers
Hi, I've had some big trouble to get historical quotes from IB recently. You can see in the screenshot attached that the Historical Data farm is inactive with IB gateway, but I don't have any feed with IB TWS as well. Sometimes I get the feed when I re-start my computer... This is not a quote limita...

Missing Bars with Interactive Brokers feed
Hi, I've compared 2 similar stocks: 1 with IB feed and the other with Free Quotes. I've realized that all my monday bars were missing with IB feed ! You can see both screenshots for comparison. I first thought it was a session template issue or time issue, but whatever the template used, I'm missing...

Portfolio Backtester Optimization Max Instrument ?
Hi, I try to run a simple optimization to find the best number of bars to exit after an entry, here is the code: If marketposition = 1 and barssinceentry > NbDay then begin sell ("XL Time")currentshares shares next bar at market; end; I run this optimization on 74 symbols (stocks and ETFs) and 1 sec...

Re: Stops Slippage with IB
Merci Martin. Users are sometimes more helpful... I think the server switches between 23:00 and 23:15 in europe because I have no data at this time of the night (not sure it is related, I need to check). Don't want to use stop limit order because I'll miss the best trades. Monitoring the bid-ask is ...

Re: Stops Slippage with IB
Thanks for the tip regarding backtesting. However, this has nothing to do with back-testing. What I do is forward test my strategy in real time with an IB paper trading account. The stop calculation was correct and I can't believe IB is executing 8.5 pips later a stop loss order on EUR/USD, it has n...

Re: Stops Slippage with IB
Thanks for your reply Henry. I've given you the sell stop order as an example but you're right I should have copied / pasted the line for the buy stop. The problem is clearly the 8,5 pips difference between the stop order issued and the filled price. This is an Intreactive Brokers demo account, do y...

Stops Slippage with IB
I need further explanation of what could impact the slippage and how to minimize it. Last Friday I had 8.5 pips of slippage with a Stop Loss, please see attached. This seems completely crazy for an instrument like EUR/USD at a time when there's no news (5.16 PM Paris Time) with such a small position...

Absolutely agree, the minimum is to have a description of the reserved words, the funtions, indicators and signals.
This is a real lack.

Automated System on/off
I hope this hasn't been answered before, but I haven't seen anything.
Is there a way to keep the performance report datas once you turn off your automated system ?
Can you keep the trades done on the chart ?

Re: System Performance Report: Feature Request
I do agree, I miss this information as well.
Have to export to excel the list of trades and do the stats by your self is a workaround... but maybe Multicharts could add this request to developper ?
