Mojotrader, Session breaks don't affect indicators and your screenshot proves this fact: if we draw a line from the session break you will see a hole in the indicator indicating the place of the session break. We agree that such holes are unacceptable and it is fixed in the current MultiCharts vers...

In addition to the visual distortion of charts, the session break gaps DO affect indicators. Note in the attached chart (28,800 Volume on ER2) each session break gap forms a point on the indicators below. Just get a ruler and draw a line down from each session break and you'll notice that the indica...

In this case the pop-up window doesn't hide the cursor and if you move it to the place where you want to put the trendline the pop-up window will move synchronously and won't cover the area pointed by the cursor. Thanks for your feedback. We'll consider the possibility to add a setting that will hi...

Mojotrader and Nick, Could you post screenshots illustrating the situation when the popup window 'gets in the way' as we failed to reproduce this? This isn't the best example but it was easy to reproduce. This is a Down Channel that I'm trying to move by grabbing the top trend line between the two ...

I'm attaching the screenshot that shows the "popup window". Could you please explain in further details how does it get in your way? I'll try to reproduce the scenario and get a screen shot but this morning, while trying to move the channel, I couldn't tell where the beginning point was in an uptre...

Popup Window While Moving Channels
Is there a way to turn off the popup window that appears while moving or adjusting channels? The window gets in the way of where I'm trying to locate the channel especially while on the right edge of the screen.
Thanks,
~mojo

This pacing violation is an IB innovation and it means that after a number of data requests IB stops processing the incoming requests and after some time starts again. So for now after some time IB begins to return data in MultiCharts. We will take this into consideration and try to adjust to this ...

Dear ~mojo, I'll comment on each of your issues one by one. DEFECTS 1. If you use one chart you can compress, expand, move up and down it without clicking on it, all is set up by default. If you have several charts first you need to click on the necessary chart. 2. The settings you mentioned are no...

5000 Point setting for 5 Tick Range Bar on ER2
There seems to be a problem with range bar (Point) settings on MC Beta. A 5000 Point setting displays a 5 tick (1/2 point) range bar on ER2. I use .5, 1.0, and 2.0 point range bars in ensign. The imposed limit of 10000 won't allow me to produce 2pt range bars in MC

ensign has 2 different ways to calculate volume bars and the ability to disregard block trades which couse problems on volume bars chart. take a look at that option in set up-charts dialog in the program.. i hope MC could do that also some day....very convinient. Thanks for the heads up on the opti...

Thanks for the quick response Kate. I can't access that timeframe on my ensign charts since I wasn't keeping more than 5K bars, and I inadvertently refreshed my ensign charts using DTN, which wiped out my IB data. The anomaly has appeared several times today and occurred last week as well. I’ll use ...

Problems with Volume Charts
Please see the attached pic for problems with volume charts on MC Beta. It appears too many bars are printed when compard to other charting software such as Ensign.
Both charts are 450 volume using the same IB datafeed. Note pic has been mislabeled. It should be ER2H7.
