Contacted live support. Helpdesk is really cool. Issue resolved. Aparently the auto load feature got turned off somehow and I just didn't think to try to load a chart manually - duh! Oh well. All charts are up and data looks good.

If anyone has the above problem, uninstalling and reinstalling Pro beta (with reboots in-between) will solve it. When you first run PLEditor it will probably generate some errors but it WILL run. I am using Gain and seams to better. Some gaps on fxcm where not present in gain. You have to change the port : file/preferences/logon options. Change the port from 8000 to 9000. Close mcfx, be sure that all the processes have ended, restart mcfx. So port 8000 is for fxcm and 9000 for gain capital....

My Intellicharts show that the current downward movement from the circa 1.3040 high on 1/23 in EUR/USD has reached a low of 1.2876. My broker's charts are also showing the sub 1.2880 low. The two back up systems tend to be pretty similar (a pip or 2 difference) but the MCFX charts have gaps all over the place, price not reaching the same level (10's of pips out) etc. The free data from InterbankFX (MT4) and Oanda (java) makes this paid service look like a joke. I urge you to look at...

Oh wow, okay. I had no idea this was a common nuance of Forex trading. That's interesting... Well it's nice to know that my data feed isn't whacky. As long as it's just 5 pips or so difference I guess that won't impact my trading much.

Has anyone noticed inaccuracies in the FXCM data feed?

In comparing highs and lows between my alerts provider (alertfx.com), my broker (OANDA.com), and FXCM I've noticed that FXCM is sometimes off by as much as 4 or 5 pips.

I've been having the same problem as you guys since Monday night.And as of 5:37pm Est, the software is still not giving any historical data and I have not gotten a response from support at all.Has anyone heard back or spoken to tech support? From what I understand, they intend to eliminate the gaps in future versions of MCFX. But I also am perplexed as to why anyone would want to see the session breaks (as gaps) in a chart to begin with. It does look odd and discontinuitous. I don't believe it's common practice with other charting tools...

Are there any support reps out there yet? Hello... It's 8:20 am and even though dailyFX.com charts are updated showing 1.3275 (dailyFX uses FXCM) MCFX charts are still at 1.3201. I think we deserve an explanation as to how or why the same data provider will update client A's charts but not client B....

It's 12:01 am on Jan. 2nd. Your charts are telling me the EUR/USD trend high (from 12-26 @ 13:34) is 1.3204 but my broker shows 1.3240. Any idea when your data provider is gonna wake up from his drunken new years stuppor?

I'm sorry, I just realized what you were telling me by means of the screenshots. Apparently you already intend to eliminate the gaps when "show session breaks" is unchecked. That would be great, a significant improvement!

I'm having the same problem as aussiefx. Even with "show empty periods" unchecked the charts show gaps between candles. I made sure to Reload after unchecking 'show empty'.
