Are there instructions on setting up back testing of the strategy of using Point and Figure charts; buy on X, sell on O?

Does anyone understand how to adapt an indicator to a range bar chart? For example when I add a MACD indicator to a range bar chart, it seems to be still oriented to a time-based version and does not sync up with the range chart. I have attached a screen shot example.
