DOM is saved with workspace but it has no broker profile saved when it opens again with the workspace. I have to select IB over again, press connect, then pick the IB profile and the symbol again, then reset bracket order and the quantity. Nothing is saved after MC is closed and reopened. Running 8.0 ver 5620 but having an issue with the broker profile not being saved after it is set. Setting is for IB. I have to reset it every time I open a DOM panel. Any suggestions?

ok - so downgraded to 8.0 and all optimization writes to excel working again. Will await fix for 8.5.

Watching Process Explorer I can see that there are no dll's actively being called during the optimization process. Likely the reason for no writes to excel.

Backtesting signal no longer writes to excel. This problem started with 8.5 RC but I thought it was because I missed setting the steps correctly because you changed that format. Now it doesn't write at all. I wish you would not have changed it - it was fine the way it was. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this problem is caused by MC 8.5 RC or IB. Just had a spike price print on EUR.USD symbol up to a value of 6.0000 then immediately back to the normal value of 1.3440 level. Chart scale is now from 6.0000 to 1.0880 so can't see normal price bars. Is there any way to fix price prints? See ...

Has anyone noticed that the program is slow to close >> 10 seconds or more? And, if you shut down Windows before the program closes, the dbase isn't saved and you get an error message next time you open MC. Anyone have any ideas?
