I'm looking for system wide price alerts, not associated with a chart. Setting alerts in charts only work for the symbol you are charting, if I track 500 symbols I would have to have 500 charts open at all times.

I am running windows 7 64bit / english. no antivirus or other security software.

I trade forex through MB so I know I am trading micro lots. All fx accounts at MB have the capability to trade in lots of 1000 so there is no differentiation between standard / mini and micro accounts. Please let me know how this should be set up.

The hollow candlestick chart colors cannot be changed and when you try to change them it changes the regular candlestick colors.

It would be interesting to find out how many users use the bar spacing keys vs. the up and down keys to move the entire data series up and down. Personally I find myself only using the bar spacing keys, it would be much more efficient for my use to use the arrows for spacing.

When there are bad ticks it makes the charts completely useless because you can't see price anymore. After a bad tick today I went into quotemanager and deleted the bad ticks then went to the chart and reloaded the data and the bad ticks are still there?? How do I get rid of them?

Correct. The tool is based off of one line. Currently MC only offers the equidistant lines to be plot "Up" or "Down" from the main line (centerline).

I agree 100% that drawings should stay in place when changing to a different symbol so when you go back to the first symbol the drawings are still there, but you should not be able to see the drawings you did on the SPY when you switch to the DIA for example....

Well when you switch to a different symbol that trades in the same price range, you should not see what you have drawn for he first symbol. I'm not sure how other application actually do it but MC is the first that I have seen that is this way.

One recommendation would be to make each column time independent of each other. So one column could be 5 min, one could be 60 min and one could be daily ect. That would make a huge difference imo when comparing to other platforms as only a few do that now.

Hello, I have a simple strategy that buys and sells based on a price channel. It works great in TS but it doesn't work in MC. In MC it seems to buy and sell at random and the quantity is incorrect. Is the strategy part of MC fully functional? I wasn't sure if that part was ready yet. Thanks, iso

Yes, this is still happening to me also. In Task Manager the processes tsServer.exe, MCActive.exe and Studyserver.exe are hung up after MC is closed down. They have to be killed manually or you have to reboot. If you try to close them manually, the next time you open MC, the program crashes. Any ide...

This is a huge issue with MC. By forcing the entire indicator to be displayed in the current view leaves the chart useless. I have posted a chart to show the problem. I have also posted a chart to show what the chart looks like without the indicator on it so you can see the difference.

I updated to the new beta and MC worked for one day. Today I started MC and it continues to crash on startup......

It also seems that after it crashes a few of MC processes stay hung-up in windows and you have to "End Task" manually.

Ok, now all of the studies are back. If "Last Bar On Chart" is overwritten from the indicator that is being imported, could that cause a problem?

Also do you have any info on if using IQFeed is more reliable and efficient than IB?
