Re: Results of an indicator change as I load a different number of bars [SOLVED]
Hi, This is because you do not update the emavola in your code. You only initialize it when declaring a variable. I also has been under the impression that setting a variable to a function at declaration in EL allows one to avoid explicit assignment to a value later in the code. (this is probably n...

Re: Results of an indicator change as I load a different number of bars [SOLVED]
Please post your code in text format. Not everybody wants to compile an unknown code into their PLE because duplicate functions can overwrite existing functions. What is your MaxBarsBack? I have not assigned any value to that variable. The code of prova indicator is the following inputs: period(16)...

Re: Results of an indicator change as I load a different number of bars [SOLVED]
Hello, giulio! In your code you use xAvarage which is a serial function that is calculated on each bar and that takes the calculation results from the previous bar as the basis for calculation of the next bar. Therefore the more bars on the chart you have the more different the results of your indi...

Re: unwanted resizing of a rectangle
Hello giulio, Will you be able to demonstrate the case via remote connection? If so, please contact us in Live Chat within working hours (Mon - Fri 6:30 AM - 1 PM EST). Nope I suggest an easier way: - take your personal software for the testing; - draw some rectangles in a few workspaces; - wait on...

Re: unwanted resizing of a rectangle
The problem is still there even after the last update. I am not able to provide a video to show you this glitch because it occurs randomly. I repeat what happens: - at the end of a day, let me say T, I draw some rectangles in some workspaces; the rectangles have the "property" to be part in T and pa...

unwanted resizing of a rectangle
I am experiencing the issue reported in the title of the discussion. Let me cite an example: I draw a rectangle with a fixed length. If it is positioned in the present day of trading or in the previous ones there is no resize. If a part of the rectangle goes beyond the tomorrow trading day I get the...

Re: What does "Collect RT Data w/o plotting" actually do
Hello allo, I am new at MC, so be patient! I am experiencing a problem with the collection of data. Let me take ES and CL for a example. ES is usually open in MC and I am able to collect data smoothly. CL is "simply" present in QM, just to collect data without plotting. Few minutes ago I decided to ...

Re: Supported MultiCharts Brokers
Banca Sella (https://www.sella.it/banca-online/trader/index.jsp), an Italian broker, provides a plug-in (https://www.sella.it/banca-online/trader/piattaforme-di-negoziazione/multicharts-plugin.jsp) to connect its proprietary data feed to Multicharts. I am aware that another Italian broker, Directa (...
