Equity Curve
Is there a way of plotting the equity curve in a panel below the trading chart for any particular strategy and currency pairs? I can get the equity curve from the back testing and save it as csv file. But I don't know how to use this data to actually plot below the trading chart. Can Easylanguage in...

Suggestion for multiple currency pairs
Hi I would like to design a program which uses a signal as a function. The function would output the cumulative equity of the signal. I would like to incorporate this function into a program which test the "function" on various currency pairs and evaluates the equity curve for the signal for each cu...

Re: Accumulating Stoplosses
Hi Henry
I submitted the requested material via the help (feedback). It is the new Multicharts download, but it stills does the same thing it does not eliminate the stoplosses.

Re: Accumulating Stoplosses
Hi TJ
I don't think it is because I am using the Targets and Stoploss canned program that comes with multicharts.

Accumulating Stoplosses
A while back I put up a question about multiple stoplosses being called for an order. Now I have a different problem with stoplosses. Every time I put in an order (see example of attachement 1) a stoploss is called, but it fails to be canceled (some of them I cancelled manually). When I look at the ...

Re: Reality versus bactesting
Couple of thoughts Definitely, will put a conditional statement on the strategy that if the spread is above 3 pips (it's a no go) . Does that sound right? With regards to the discrepancy: The strategy I have has intrabar trading turned on, while as I understand the back testing has only the open, cl...

Reality versus bactesting
Hi I realize that the default backtesting does not take the spread for Forex into account and that there are ways that it can be made to do so. But my question is shown on the next two uploads. One is for a backtest and the other one is for the live trading for the same currency pair and time period...

Re: Duplication of Stoploss in Easy Language Automated Trading [SOLVED]
Humm.. I do have a long and a short strategy on the same chart...both have stoplosses. Let me try with only one on the chart and see what happens. If this is the case, the solution would be to put the stoploss in the inner conditional loop. This way the stoploss will be activated only when the order...

Re: Duplication of Stoploss in Easy Language Automated Trading [SOLVED]
Doesn't sound right ... the other position is in another currency pair and I often have several other open positions in other currency pairs. By your logic I should have several stoplosses. It's always two stoplosses per currency pairs.

Duplication of Stoploss in Easy Language Automated Trading [SOLVED]
I am having issues with an automated strategy. I have an automated EL code to buy or sell orders included with the code is stoploss order. I am running this with intrabar order generation on. The strategy works fine with backtesting. The issue is that when I run live it generates two Stoploss orders...
