Plotting futures and ETFs on the same chart
I'm trying to plot e-mini Nasdaq futures (NQ) and SPY on the same chart. When I add SPY as Data 2, the NQ and SPY bars don't line up -- it looks like Data 2 gets shifted to the left by 1 bar, and bar spacing gets wider for both instruments. Both instruments use daily (non-real time), ascii data. I s...

Re: Saving Strategy Optimization Report
Hi Anna,
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you by any chance know if there is also going to be an option in the future to save the optimization report in a folder other than My Documents?

Saving Strategy Optimization Report
Is it possible not to save the strategy optimization reports at all? I have a box unchecked under Preferences, but the reports are still saved in My Documents. I don't just mean that I want to save them in a different directory, I don't want to save them at all. Is that an option?

Treasury Bond Futures ASCII Mapping
I'm having a little problem plotting T-bond futures data correctly using ASCII mapping. So, for example, if my ascii file has a 12/14/18 Close listed as 142.23, I want it to plot as 142 23/32 or 142 ^23, depending on how MultiCharts handles the 32nds. But I'm not getting that. I tried all kinds of p...

Re: CSI Data Futures Contracts
Thanks for your reply, Anna. So, you're saying that if I Edit Symbol in QuoteManager and change the description to "BACK-ADJUSTED" under "Common Information" the data will become back-adjusted? Right now the description field says, as an example, "Crude Oil (combined) - NYMEX". So, if I change "comb...

CSI Data Futures Contracts
Does anybody know how CSI futures contracts that begin with @ (@NG, @CL, etc.) are constructed? Are these back-adjusted? If so, what are the rollover parameters (by date, by volume, OI...)? I asked CSI tech support and was told that all the parameters to build these contracts are programmed in the A...
