Re: VWAP Bands Problem with Exception Floating-point division by zero

Hello Mark, Thanks for your suggestion, I have only just seen it. As I am not a coder please can you indicate where I am making a mistake, I am getting a Compile error syntax error, unexpected 'identificator' line 19, column 9: Which is the line starting: // Function to safely perform division Funct...

Re: VWAP

Thanks for your help Kate,

I look forward to a working version, unfortunately the piece of code you gave me did not solve my problem. I think I had already tried it before.

It needs to be tested on for example: EUR.USD or ERY or VIX all report "Error of Floating point division by Zero".

Re: VWAP

Hello Kate, I am not referring to the pre-built VWAP Reset, which is not really usable as a buy /sell indicator except in the widest sense. I am refering to the indicator the code of which I attached with my initial query below, which is similar to in it's action to the one TRADING VIEW offer on the...

VWAP

Can we please have a version of VWAP with standard deviation bands that work with ALL chart types including Currency Cash and Futures. If you need to see how it works you can log on to TRADING VIEW for free to see it in action. It is extremenly frustrating that MC always comes up with errors on some...

Re: VWAP profile data in Easylanguage

Can you please add a 'working' accurate multiday VWAP to MC. If there is a problem with Easy Language then add it to MC NET VWAP.reset does not work well, it is a mash up and cannot be used for multi-day Most institutional algos use VWAP to set buy/sell points. If MC professes to be a professional P...

Re: MC8 Scaling Bug

MC64 v8.0 Build 5622 I am simply drawing a diagonal line between 2 points on the chart which is displayed at 100% scaling. I then zoom in by increasing bar spacing which results in either the line or the chart move in relation to each other As I am unable to attach 2 files to reply I shall attach th...

MC8 Scaling Bug

See attached images.

Scaling up a chart causes the diagonal line between 2 points to move in a southerly direction.

Ovals mark original points on chart 1 and 2.

Memory Release MC7.4

MC 7.4 does not seem to release complete memory allocated to added Workspaces when these Workspaces are later shut down, a small amount is released but it requires a complete shut down of MC and re-start in order to release all the memory. This is quite inconvenient. Is there a solution to this?

I am referring to the built in exit strategies, on further investigation trailing stop seems to work in DOM but not on the chart order window.

Bug Report: Exit Strategy 'Trailing Stop' does not appear to be working, all the others work fine. Nothing displays on the chart and stop does not action either.

I have waited for Futures roll over for a long time, please prioritise on this version.

1. Futures Roll Over.
2. Data Filter
3. Spreads
4. Popular Charts

Keep up the good work, the improvements over the last year or so have made a big difference to working with MultiCharts.

Regards.

You may need to add IDEALPRO to the exhange list, even though it was already listed, Stefan in support was very helpful. I was having trouble getting MultiCharts to pick up the data from IB. Also make sure Merge Data Source is disabled on the symbol format dialog box. :D
