I use IB for data. i noticed that the CL futures symbols don't line up with what they should do . clk1 is may but on m charts i need use april for the right data. is this IB or m charts.?

does this happen very often ?

never happened to me during trading in 2 years. only been asked for authorization once and that was after a update .

thank you marina and all. tried task manager and my cpu was runnning at 100% before my charts started to fall back. looks as i need new computer. thank you all for the help.

q tracker with ib feed seems to work a differant way. starts charts then asks for backfill so even on friday my charts built from opening without me doing anything, at least after 15 mins i had some data to work with.

finally got es up. 100 tick and 400 tick. must be waiting till chart filled before getting charts up

i allso have q tracker with ib feed. no back fill there allso, only starts charting from when log on. 2 hr period reads 3 mins now.

i have been having same problems downloading data re ib / multi charts. get ym 75 tick and ym 250. but 750 backfilling forever. es i am still waiting for data after 3 hrs. says tws warning message ID=-1 market data farm is ok.

thank you Marina for your reply. not been technical myself, i will try to explain better. over the past few weeks my tick charts have been falling behind true price from ib. using m charts with ib feed. i presume that the red flashing figure bottom right of screen is time behind, ? if so it often go...

my charts are falling way behind price lately. on ym it was approx 150 points just after close. had a look at q tracker and they kept up making me think it was not my computer. trading ym/ es multi charts tick bars with ib feed. any help appreciated.
