If it's been compiled successfully, it must be in the Add Study dialog in the Signal tab under the name Elliott Wave System.

I have not tested this, so I realy give no guarantees how will it perform, just as for any third-party indicator.

Were you able to receive data for that period to IB TWS? If so, please send a screenshot showing this. If not, then there was a genuine data problem with the feed. It is a known issue and apart from reloading data nothing can be done.

Our developers researched this issue and here's what they found:

when saving the workspace, the values after the decimal poin were getting dropped off (this is why optins ending with a 0 worked) for StrikePrice.
Also, the Call / Put optin type was not properly handled.
This will be fixed soon.

This has nothing to do with resolution. If you have problems with the chart, e.g. gaps, first try simply reloading the chart. The source code is stored in graph_backup.xm, the binary versions in graph.bin.
Well, you can just copy those files for backup - or you can export just the selected indicators in .SEF or .XML format.

When you're doing a reload, MultiCharts tries to use existing (pre-downloaded data).
If you want to be completely sure that the data is downloaded anew from the server, you'll need to open the symbol in QuoteManger, clear the cache and create the chart again.

We use the 1-second data from IB for charting the 30 seconds resolution.

As to the volume, there is no separate up/down tick volume data provided, this is why volume is not differentiated.

Please send a screenshot; what data server mode are you using - On-Demand or Online? Are the bars not showing at all or lagging behind real data?
Also make sure you're watching the very end of the chart, where the lates tbars are created, not stuck somewhere in the middle.

The second bar data differs from real bar data in that it's history seconds+the data accumulated from realtime. When the chart opens but history hasn't been downloaded yet, realtime is already saved to the database.

To enable a different dataserver mode for an already opened chart, it must be reloaded (Ctrl+R). Charts opened or created anew after the mode change are by default in the new mode.

BOLD is an extension that is implemented in PowerLanguage, it is not present in EasyLanguage. The usage is:

text_a_bold 1 True – text object is in bold type.

It is possible to use the setting 1/100000 so five decimals are displayed; otherwise, .05 values are always rounded to .1, this is a mathematic rule.

It cannot be changed - otherwise, for instance, 1,25 will have to be rounded down to 1,2 - not so subtle a difference, right?

What you need to do is change the price scale in QuoteManager: select and right-click a symbol -> Edit symbol -> Settings -> select Use custom Settings and a drop-down menu will be activated.
Try out the scales to find one that suits you best.

The problem here is probably not with BarInterval, it may be related to the AddTime function that is not implemented - it's a function created by some user.

Those connections will be activated and shown in green only when you have data of the corresponding kind (i.e. history, realtime etc.) actually downloading.

If you're able to create symbols and receive data, you needn't worry about the connection states any longer.

Most likely it's disabled in the list of data sources.

Open a Quote Manager window, in the main menu go to Tools->Data Sources. Find the eSignal entry in the list and if it is in Inactive state, select it and click the Activate button, then restart Multicharts.

If plotting a chart in On-demand mode and reloading it does not fix the bad data point, then that data value is bad on the IB servers. It's reloaded every time as is.

What you need to do is open the symbol in QuoteManager, right-click and select Edit Data to find and manually fix the bad data point.

Scott, IB is IB. Downloading data from IB is not a question of MultiCharts performance. It can happen that it doesn't send data to IB's own client just as well (or as bad). This happens - use eSignal if you want a reliable commercial service. Will work on reproducing the issue reported by swisstrader.

Being developers, we often have to copy databases and never encountered such a problem, so the warning message you posted is maybe prudent, but not really important.

In the future we plan to integrate firebird so it no longer is used as a system service, but works as part of Multicharts.

You can easily scale the Y-axis if you left-click it and keep the mouse button pressed; the mouse pointer will assume the shape as shown in the screenshot and by mivuing it up and down you can modify the Y-axis scale.

MultiCharts will run on Windows XP 64 like other 32bit applications - i.e. it works, but without taking advantage of 64bit features.

Testing the latest Beta, I cannot get even simple canned studies such as Volume, to display with semi-log X Axis.
