it dounds reasonable. Maybe we need to make a popup message when you select count-based resolutions. However I think 30 splits will work for all for at least a year or two:) I agree, I think 30 should do. whoever chooses a contract volume that requires more than 10 splits must have a special reason...

the is NO PROBLEM even if the trendline is anchored to the moving average. But, it is a problem. Especially if it is anchored to the wrong moving average. you can anchor your trendline to whatever indicator you choose. theoretically, if that indicator is scaled same as symbol... your trendline will...

did you switch data source at one time?
I have found that this can happen as the original symbol gets corrupted by the second data source.
when you switch back to the original data source, your chart creates could not find the original database and starts a new one.

i copied the code to a new space... and it is the same gray color!!!

I copied a small section of the code to a new space...
the keyword colors came back.
then when I copy more sections over...
and the color turned gray.

because you are not covering the situation where

Value1 = 0

and/or

Value2 = 0

a catch-all with no condition is preferred.

ok, i can see the root of the problem: both Average and averagefc are calling another function. because the second function is not aware of the dataN reference, it is using data1 for its calculation... thus the wrong result. I don't know, if this is a MC bug, or if there is a way for MC to make subs...

I do exactly what you do. The settings are fixed in QM (08:30 - 15.15, Mon-Fri). I only flip in MC (on chart level) between 24h and regular.

Vars: abc (0); sets the initial value.

from that point on, the program takes over.

the program assigns it whatever value your codes decides.


I have never experienced MC resetting a variable to its initial value in mid-session.

If you tighten the price scale and can't see some of the bar elements distinctly, you are probably using an older version of MC.

yes, I agree. When the time scale tightens, you lose the left and right tick (the Open and Close notch).

MC can add a couple more pixels to the notch.

p.s. PLEASE... make them square... we don't want any rounded corners.

i have 2 data series on many of my charts. Like your chart, I have my 2nd series invisible.

Then it dawn on me... it is the file name that is at fault !!! I was exporting an indicator with the _v2.5 suffix added to the end of the fil...

What is happening with the scale? I appreciate the closer grids of this new version... I trade ES... it increments at 0.25. but I am getting the 1/5 scale... i.e. divided at 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80 and I can't change it or do anything about it !!! it wasn't like this before in the beta versions. :rol...

For me this type of behavior doesn't work. I want to see the true values. If this is designed this way can you please make a switch to turn this off? I use the markers for specific price levels, if the marker isn't displaying the correct level it is of no use.
