Hi.
Is there a way to decrease the bar spacing step?
Everytime I increase or decrease the bar spacing the step in which the spacing is done is to large. On a minute chart the step is around 12 hours.
Regards,
Fernando

Re: decrease the bar spacing step
You can see the existing differences when we decrease a chart with a different time range.
With a higher time range, the decrease/increase step is much higher than when we have a chart with a lower time range.
We could have an option so we could manually control the step. One way to do this would be allowing the mouse to scroll on the chart horizontal scroll bar, but allowing to move bar by bar or by a fix number of bars independently on the time range we have.

This feature has been already implemented. My 2 cents in the attached picture.
Please make a right click on the chart->Format window->X-time scale->set the right margin (or Chart Shift).

Holy moly, MC programmers are fast. Will check this feature soon. In the meantime this 'declined' feature request https://www.multicharts.com/pm/viewissu ... e_no=MC-60 can be changed to 'implemented'.This feature has been already implemented. My 2 cents in the attached picture.

The 'declined' feature request is about an option to set a fixed margin in pixels.Holy moly, MC programmers are fast. Will check this feature soon. We have implemented a different option - to set it in percents.
Re: decrease the bar spacing step
Apologies for highjacking the thread.
Setting the right margin as % of chart shift is much better than the old way. Still there is however room for improvement. Picture attached.

Re: decrease the bar spacing step
Charts can be linked by the Resolution and Instrument only.
If you want to set the default right margin value for all new charts - please use "Set as default" option in Format window->X-time scale.
If you want to create a copy of the chart please highlight the chart and use Ctrl+Shift+C / Ctrl+Shift+V hotkeys to copy/paste it.
