Help with Erroneous Price action on contract roll

Postby canaussieuck » 25 Mar 2012

Can someone help me to determine what is causing this?
Here is an issue i am having with the SPI futures. These erroneous opens are not showing up in the data file. MC must be interpreting that data in a strange way that i have yet to determine.

Anyone come across this before?

Cheers,

CanOz

Hello Canaussieuck,

Is it IB data feed?
Please let me know what exact version and build number of MultiCharts you are running (Help tab->About MultiCharts).

Have you tried to reload the chart?
Is the option "Generate new tick if total volume changes" enabled in QuoteManager->Tools->Data sources->IB->Settings ?

If you are using ASCII import:
Please export the instrument from the QuoteManager.
Make a right click on it->Export data-> Export instrument.
if the file size is less than 10 mb then send it to my email support@multicharts.com alongside with hte sorkspace you are using.
We will check this case in our environment.

If you are using ASCII mapping:
please send me the ASCII source file and the workspace you are using.
