Hi,
Just getting started with TWS running in simulation mode and I came home yesterday to find TWS had crashed some time during the day. Came home today and forund the same thing had happened. It's not just disconnecting, it's completely crashing. I don't know how long it ran prior to crashing or if there was some event which triggered it.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Cheers

TWS crashing
Re: TWS crashing
Hello
Could you describe more in detail
- What happen
- What time of the day.
If your new to TWS, then you have to know that their server are reset once per day at the same hour. The time that this happend, is depending on your location and the server that is hook to your TWS.
Good luck
Martin

TWS has an auto log off feature.
check:
Configuration > Lock and Exit

Re: TWS crashing
There are 3rd party utilities that can circumvent the auto log off.
for example, Google TWSStart.
Also check IB's user forum for other suggestions.
