Re: Vote CQG 3 years tick data
bomberone1,
As I wrote in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10409&p=51436#p51436 - we do not have control over how much historical data CQG provides. Therefore, I think it's useless to vote for this feature on our Project Management, because I seriously doubt that CQG is influenced by it.
If you have an account with them, I suggest you ask you Account Manager at CQG and log a request with them.

We'll ask them. Can't promise anything though. Also, nobody has more influence on a company than their users, in my opinion. Gather a large enough petition of CQG users and present them with it, any company that cares about its business (which IS its users) will listen.

Re: Vote CQG 3 years tick data
Hi,
At the MC website it states 10 years of 1 minute date. But I can not find anything on that at the CQG site.
The most elaborate API (Extended API Historical Plus) has a maximum of 40000 bars for data under 60 minutes time frame, so for 1 minute data it is about 2,5 months historical data.
Is there a special MC/CQG API that offers the 10 years 1 minute date? Is any one using this right now, and can tell me something about the costs I need to expect.

Hi evdl,
We have no knowledge whether this API is "special", we simply used what they gave us.
