Study Templates

Hi,

How does a trader apply a "study template" to data 2 in the same chart?

The template stores to which data series it is applied. So in order to create a template that is applied to the second data series only, you need to:

-remove any studies from the first data series
-add the necessary studies to the second data series
-save a template under a different name
-when a new chart with two data series is crated, apply the template.

After you have created a template for the second data series, you can return to the first one and add studies to it, then create another template - it will store the studies for both data series, saving which one to apply where.

Alex,

Thanks for the explanation.

This seems quite confusing and with non intuitive processes. What happens when someone has 3 or more data on a chart?

Is it possible to modify this so when making a 'template' one could just specify which data series it applied to,including 'All' ?

If this Now belongs in 'Features request' please move it there.

Thanks

Thanks for the input, I'm adding those template issues to the ToDo list for consideration
