I have the CQG demo account running and I'm trading the EU6Z12 (6E).
It would appear that the demo account doesn't include brokerage (Commision) on it's simulated account. I say this because, when I do the same thing with IB using the 6E or the SPI, the P&L displayed on the chart trading shows the P&L minus the brokerage.
However, when I'm using CQG (AMP Futures) the current live trade P&L trade shows the point value * the contract value ie up 5 points = $62.50 ( 5 * $12.50).
BUT, when the Trade performance is brought up, it shows a profit of $37.50.
Ie Buy @ 1.2938, Sell @ 1.2943 = 5 pips = 5 * $12.50, Should = $62.50 but shows $37.50
So where am I loosing the TWO pips?
Given that you can't run the CQG trading platform at the same time as the MC and the CQG API. How do you see the trades external to MC?
How do you see in MC what the brokerage is?
Attached is a live trade showing the current price.
Neil.
P.S.
Why does the Open positions Tab show 4 open positions?
One for each of the contracts ???

Hello Neil,So where am I loosing the TWO pips?
Please go to Format tab->Strategy properties for your trading chart and make sure that commission and slippage are set to zero.
There is no way to do that.Given that you can't run the CQG trading platform at the same time as the MC and the CQG API. How do you see the trades external to MC?
How do you see in MC what the brokerage is?
Restart MultiCharts finishing all processes. If that does not help:Why does the Open positions Tab show 4 open positions?
One for each of the contracts ???
1) Install the latest API from this link. Installation guide in this thread.
2) Then install an updater from this post.
