Order cancelling problem with 8.7 beta 1

Postby Geoff » 06 May 2013

Using Mirus with Zenfire when I cancel a limit order that was manually placed in the DOM it goes to state "Precancelled" and stays on the DOM and chart. The only way to remove it is to close and restart Multicharts. It works fine in SIM mode but not in live trading.

This is also happening with the CQG data feed, order goes pre - cancelled, will not fully cxl.

Please advise if fix is available. Using same version as prior user.

It is the exact same issue that the other user is having and you corrected via HOTFIX.
LIMIT order in DOM sometimes go to PRE_CANCELLED state. This occurs on the LIVE
trading and caused a major issue for me minutes ago, requires a restart to clear the order.

Could you urgently provide a HOTFIX for this for CQG, as you did for the for the other user.

Thank You

Hello Stormy,

This behavior is not the same as original post related to Zenfire broker connection. Your case is different as you are using CQG. The behavior you are referring to has not been reported by any other users, it has not been replicated in our environment as well.

If such behavior will reappear please send me (support@multicharts.com) the following information for analysis:
1) MultiCharts logs (if you have not restarted the platform. Logs from the previous run are erased when you start MC).
In MultiCharts go to Help->Feedback->Send logs. Please let me know that you have uploaded the logs.
If you want to send the logs manually please follow this guide: https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... harts_Logs
2) In MultiCharts go to File->New->Open Order and position tracker window-> Orders tab->make sure you are not filtering the information in columns, then go to File->Export to excel.
Please also export the information from the Logs tab and send it to me for analysis.
3) Please attach a detailed problem description and highlight the problem order on the screenshots.
4) CQG logs: You need to paste this path in Start->Run in order to open CQG logs folder: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Multicharts\Multicharts
Please send me all files with extension: *.log for further analysis.

You can also come to our live chat Monday-Friday 6:30 am - 4 pm EST to demonstrate the issue remotely and we will collect all required for analysis information.
