Issues when plotting time resolutions off tick ASCII data

Postby Tresor » 01 Jun 2013

Hi,

I have a CSV file with tick data (attached; min tick size is 0.000 01). When applying this data I can plot nice tick resolutions, but fail to plot correct time resolutions (bars are missing).

I'm probably doing something wrong. Help is appreciated.

Please show the time scale at the bottom of the screen shot.

Please attach ONLY the data of the referenced period. We can't wade through 4 MB of data to find your spot.

The data shown in my previous picture referenced 2 last days of the data series.

To easier understand the issue I attach a picture of 2500 tick chart vs. 1D chart. Many daily bars are missing. The picture covers all data

Hello Tresor,

There was a number of bug fixes for ASCII mapping data provider in MultiCharts 8.7 beta 2.
I have tested your file on this version and confirm that this is possible to build minute and daily data out of ticks.
Please update to the latest version.
