MCFX Data Feed subscription for Multichart

Postby pricerxl » 21 Sep 2006

I want to use Multichart with a good forex data Feed (MCFX data feed seem to be good, providing extensive historical datas) but I don't want only FX. I want to see Futures and Stocks too (from eSignal, OpenTick, IB, ...).

Is it possible to Mix MCFX Data Feed with eSignal or OpenTick ?

Is there a Forex data feed only subscription for MC owners ?

No, the datafeed used by MCFX is not and will not be available for MultiCharts.

OK ... so second (evident) question ...

Does MCFX is only "lock" for FX data Stream or can I connect it to IB or eSignal like Multichart ? I trade not only Forex but Futures and stocks too ...

So does MCFX could be see as a "super" multichart or as a "sub" multichart ?

MCFX is a "special" Forex-only version of MultiCharts if that's what you want to know; it does not provide the freedom of data vendor choice

If you go with Multicharts you can use every datafeed supported by MC. So you just use your regular datavendor's forex feed with MultiCharts and you'll have all in one platform.
