Problems with ASCI mapped charts & holiday list in 8.5

Postby piranhaxp » 18 Jun 2013

I have a problem with ASCII mapped charts, which are showing equal OHLC data while symbol is set to the correct exchange and holiday list. Holiday list shows that these holidays should be excluded. The original ASCII file has the previous close on these holidays as OHLC data for the holiday.

Picture 1 :

Chart shows the holiday while correct holiday in the holiday setup should be excluded from the charts

Picture 2 :

Shows the correct exchange for the symbol with the correct holiday set up related to the exchange

Picture 3 :

Shows the correct holidays which should be excluded from charts

Does this mean that "holidays" are just working for online charts where real-time data are not stored ? Does this mean that all ASCII files have to be changed because of this issue ?

Thanks.

Mike

Hello Mike,

"Do not use holidays" means holiday lists are not used. In order to filter the holidays the option should be unchecked. You need to copy/paste your chart to make the settings come into effect.
