measurement

Postby traderwep » 20 Nov 2006

is there a way to have a drawing tool that allows one to click on a bar and it will draw lines or make a mark .7 above and .7 below the close of the bar that is clicked on? i would use this on the russell which is in tenths. or if not a drawing tool some kind of indicator that would do the same?

thanks

theoretically yes - but it won't work by clicking on a bar, but on all bars or on a bar matching some conditions set in the script. Lines could be drawn using the TL_* reserved word.

thanks but i have no idea how to do that. i am trying to keep it simple. is there a way to pre setup a drawing indicator so i could set it at a price and it would draw lines .7 above and below? i was looking at the equidistant line indicator but it does not plot or i dont know how to get it to plot so i dont know if it would work for this purpose. thanks
