Quote window & Multiple time frames

Postby iso » 22 Feb 2007

Is it planned to have a quote window in MC? If so will you be able to have each column be a different timeframe?

Many application provide this functionality already (also being able to write indicators and strategies in multiple timeframes with out having to add a second data series to a chart). Or hey, why do you need a chart to run a strategy anyway, why not have that functionality from the quote window.

I guess my hopes were that MC was not copying TS exactly and getting caught up in the same limitations as TS.

Thanks.....

Iso,

Yes, we are planning to implement a customizable Quote window where it will be possible to add custom indicators. It won't be an exact TS copy, of couse, but it will contain its advantageous features.

One recommendation would be to make each column time independent of each other. So one column could be 5 min, one could be 60 min and one could be daily ect. That would make a huge difference imo when comparing to other platforms as only a few do that now.

just my 2 cents....

Thank you for this recommendation, our developers will consider it.
