Had missing data for my ES & NQ charts for the last 2 days. It seems to happen after 11am - Is it due to IB, or MC? Because my YM & Mini Russell charts are fine. Please see attached chart

Hello,

I just plotted two charts in MC for ES and NQ. No data was missing.

Have you tried reloading charts? (cntrl+R). Only before reloading, please change the requested period in Format Symbol and limit it to those days that have missing data. After the settings are changed you can reload the chart.

Changing settings is recommended because when you make a reload all the data for the indicated period is requested from the data source again (and not taked from the storage). Quite naturally, if the period includes lots of bars it would take a lot of time.

Also have you by any chance changed any settings is sessions? Make sure that the sessions chosen are 24 hour sessions.

If after reloading the charts you still have the problem, please let us
know.

Hello,

my computer crashed and after restart a have a gap in my data of ca. 30 minutes.
I did a reload (cntrl+R) and I can see data requests in QM, but still have this data gap.

I receive data of IB (IAB)

Data server mode is: Online and download missing data

PS: (because? ) of shuting down and restart MV my gap is now 06 minutes. I dont understand this.

Hello,

Could you please do a reload again and after that send us logs?

To send the logs please go to Start-> Programs -> MultiCharts -> Logs. Archive and send us logs from the following folders: tsServer and MCActiveX.

You can e-mail them to mpashkova@tssupport.com

Hello,

You can also try to following to remedy the problem on your own.

When the computer crashed the data must have simply been recorded incorrectly. What you need to do is find the two ticks separated by this gap, note their timestamps, go to Quote Manager -> Edit Data and delete these two records (basically delete the two records you pointed out in your screenshot). After that reload (ctrl+R) the chart again.

Should work.

Thanks!

I did a couple of times a reload (ctrl+R), yesterday and the gap is closed, wihtout your hint to edit the data.

Its possible that you check up this Future data? Maybe the data imperfect by IB?

I want to chart BID and ASK, trades are not important for me.
Symbol is: ZG Gold 100 oz @ CBOT
Data provider: IB

Than with resolution in seconds (interval 60sec),
Data range: 2007-08-24 -> 2007-08-28
in that future data are a lot of gaps see screenshot B.

And today GMT+1 09:30 until 11:30 is also a data gap (except a few data @10:30)
