EntryPrice vs. ExitPrice

Postby ivanyu » 26 Aug 2013

It seems there is an asymmetry between these two, in that

EntryPrice[0] is the entry price for the last position, but

ExitPrice[1] is the exit price for the last position, and there is no such thing as ExitPrice[0]?

Seems to also apply to others like ExitDate, ExitTime, etc.

Why this asymmetry?

Thanks very much!!!

ExitPrice[0] would mean current open position. But naturally, there is no close price (because positions is not closed yet), so ExitPrice[0] doesn't make any sense.

EntryPrice[0]: you get the entry price for the current open position.
