Optimizer caching old inputs

Postby StefanoSF » 15 Nov 2013

I noticed that the optimizer will cache old inputs. In other words, if I run the optimizer and save a result. Then edit the input using Format Signal later, when opening the Optimizer again my manually edit Format Signal inputs are not listed under "Current" but rather the previously optimized values are.

This is very annoying as we have to double check optimizers current inputs to be sure they match manually updated values.

Optimizer Current Value should = Format Signal input

Hello StefanoSF,

We have followed the steps, but we failed to reproduce the same situation shown on the attached screenshot. We will need additional information:
  1. Please enumerate each step from the very beginning (literally every mouse click) you do to end up like it is shown on the screenshot.
  2. What is the exact MC build number (Help -> About MultiCharts)?
  3. Would you be able to upload your workspace?
