Delete Data of a symbol

Postby Bulli » 25 Nov 2013

Hi,

Is there a way to force MultiCharts to request a FRESH download of data instead of using the cached one?

Or the only way is to delete the data and clear cache of a symbol from QuoteManager?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks, I did not know that it would reload fresh data, I thought it would get data from cache plus new just to fill the gaps.

1. Quote manager -> right click Symbol -> Delete data
2. Reload chart in Multicharts

When I get bad data (corrupt database) , I go to quote manager- clear cache, then delete data and sometimes even delete the symbol, then re-create the symbol and reload data...

Once you have a good database, it's wise to make a backup folder of data, so you can just replace the old data, if it ever gets corrupted..
