Error with Connection to the digital rights

Hi!

In the attached file you see an error that occurs multiple times during the day.

Before this appears I get to send a dump to you.

Any ideas why this occurs and is it possible to correct?

Hello Orjan,

Do you use your MultiCharts license on multiple computers at the same time?
What is your PC name (right click on My Computer->Properties->Computer name)? We need to know it in order to find the dumps you have uploaded.

We have studied the dumps from 13.02.2014 and identified the issue.
It will be fixed in MultiCharts 9.0 beta 1.

Same issue !

it's not the first time, I have digital right management popup with only one lifetime licence runing !

tsServer crach before ????

I can not work on a real account as tsServer STOP occasionally .....

Smoky, please install the following updater that resolves the issues with TsServer.exe reported after MultiCharts 8.8 Release.
Download the file corresponding to your version of MultiCharts:

Please unzip the file and follow the installation guide:

If you still experience any TsServer.exe crash please provide the information for analysis of this case:
If you have a window "%Process Name% has generated some errors during previous session" you can click "Save Report" button and specify a location for saving the zip file with logs and dumps.

If "Application error" window appears with Exception or Assert information please click Terminate button and manually collect the logs.

Once you have the logs folder zipped please send it to me for analysis (support@multicharts.com).

Smoky, in the logs there is no dump file. Did you send me all of the crash report files like I have described? Unfortunately we are unable to trace the issue without the crash dump file.

Did these files get pulled down? I tried downloading the 64 bit version and got a 404 on dropbox.

I'm having the same issue...every evening my Multicharts 8.8 loses connection to the DRM. I'm on the 8.8 Build 8593.

may be my bug had come before your error handling routine ...
Next time the error appears please create a screenshot of the error message/window. If there is an option to save the crash report - save it and send me the file. I would also recommend to leave the report open and come to our live chat 6:30 am - 3 pm EST so that and we can connect to your PC and check it.

I can't use Multicharts to trade ! with this error !

there are no digital right management popup, this popup is 'on' only when i close the debugger (visual studio)

Please download this zip file and unzip it into a folder on your PC:

When the issue is replicated again please do not close MultiCharts or any of its processes.
Leave it running and start MCDumperGui.exe from the unzipped folder.
In MC Dumper window please select the version of MultiCharts you are having problem with in “Product for Dumps selector”.
Please keep in mind that MultiCharts, MultiCharts64, MultiCharts .Net, MultiCharts .Net 64, MultiCharts .Net SE, MultiCharts .Net SE 64 are all different products and the one you are having problem with right now must be selected to collect the required information.
Do not change any other options.
Press “Make Dumps” button. This utility will create dumps and logs, pack them into a zip file and open the folder containing the file once the procedure is done.

If the file size is >10mb please upload it to any file sharing hosting and send me the download link, otherwise send it via email directly to me and our developers will analyze it.

Thanks...this seems to have solved my problem...been running for a few days now with no issue. Previously, I couldn't run for more than 24 hours without the error.

I run the MCdumperGUI and i'll send you logs

Bitdefender isn't ON, i run 2 MC on the same lan and i have to kill LMAXserverHost.exe by hand with task manager on my laptop.

On the second server all work fine with the same workspace/desktop as my laptop, WITH bitdefender ON.

I never had any problem with Bitdefender, I always use it from the begining with my first MC !

I run only scan/services on saturday

Hello Smoky,

As we can see in the dump files - the antivirus is still present in MultiCharts processes.
It means it is not completely disabled, or it cannot be disabled and must be uninstalled.
There is nothing wrong in MultiCharts logs and dumps apart from that.

Please uninstall your antivirus and do the following:
Run exactly the same setup on both PCs and use MultiCharts the same way.
If MultiCharts crashes on one PC - create the dumps for it. At the same time create the dumps on the PC that is running ok. Send me both sets of dumps.

Hi!

I've sent you another dump concerning this same issue. My computername is LOGISTAHP.

This was supposed to be fixed in the latest version...I now have version 8.8.8967 and it still doesn't work.

For now works with 8.7 :)

That was not supposed to be fixed in Multicharts 8.8.
The fix was targeted to MultiCharts 9.0 beta 1.

As we can see from the logs - you are using Tradenode data provider. This issue is something that needs to be fixed in the data provider module. We will contact the data provider directly regarding this issue and get back to you once the fix is available.
