Plotting 2 symbols on a chart

Postby aljafp » 09 Jan 2008

hi,
Currently if i plot 2 symbols on the same chart window and 1 of the symbol has no data, both symbols are not plotted.

How can i force the symbol with no data to still plot but with empty bars ?

thank you

Hello aljafp,

The system can't be forced to plot empty bars. The reason why the data for all the data series is needed to be plotted on the chart is that only this way the timescale can be properly created.

Regards.

But this creates problem when one is looking for opportunites between an active contract and a relatively inactive one.
E.g an ATM option vs a deep ITM option

There are other charting packages that allows plotting of zero volume bars...

Please consider this feature.

thanks
