Hello
I found a TS ELD file for Ichimoku.
I downloaded it and used the power language editor to import and compile it.
BUT... the ready status still shows as "no".
In the power language editor, I open the file and it is blank.
In TS, the Ichimoku file shows as "token only".
Note: There is another ichimoku code for Multicharts but it is not as visually appealing to me and the price bars can move without the clouds or lines moving.
Anyone know how I might be able to import this file.
I got it from
https://www.ichimokutrade.com/c/tradest ... formation/
Kind regards.
Ichimoku

Hello melvinmills,
It is protected. so it cannot be used in MC. This is what TS shows when you try to open it there:

Re: Ichimoku
Hi Andrew :
I have a similar problem compiling an indicator "bb-squeeze", I imported the indicator's code (bb-squeeze.ELD) into Multicharts power language and compiled , then I got 0 errors, but the "Ready Status" = NO, so I can not use it in the Multicharts charts.
What am I doing wrong?
Note: I can see the code after importing the bb-squeeze.ELD in Power language.
Code is here:
http://cdn3.traderslaboratory.com/forum ... queeze.eld
Thanks a lot.

@Robertwh
I can confirm this version works with MC
https://github.com/mtompkins/openAlgo/t ... %20Squeeze
... perhaps you can try this version.

1. Close MultiCharts and all its partsI have a similar problem compiling an indicator "bb-squeeze", I imported the indicator's code (bb-squeeze.ELD) into Multicharts power language and compiled , then I got 0 errors, but the "Ready Status" = NO, so I can not use it in the Multicharts charts.
2. Make sure all MC processes are ended in Windows Task Manager. Here you can find the list of all MC processes: https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... _Processes
3. Make a right-click on the MultiCharts icon -> Run as Administrator
4. MultiCharts: File -> New -> PowerLanguage Editor
5. PowerLanguage Editor: Compile -> Compile All
6. Try to apply the studies to a chart again.

Hi Andrew:
I did all the steps you provided, but still I can not compile
BB_squeeze indicator, I am using Windows 8.1, any ideas
what is wrong?
Note: Now, I am using the BB_Squeeze code provided by "javamarket", from the previous post
and he says It works, but I have the same issue.
Thanks

Re: Ichimoku
Hi all:
I confirm that squeeze indicator in Multichart 8.0 (Windows 8.1 ), doesn't work,
I installed Multichart 9 and SQUEEZE indicator works like a charm and all other indicators
no issues at all.
So the problem is maybe incompatibility with Win 8.1.
Very bad that Multichart 8.0 is useless and has issues on Win 8.1.
Thanks
