Transferring historical data from old PC to new?

Postby datamonkey » 19 Aug 2014

Ok so I've got new computer and want to move the historical data saved on my old PC to my new one.

What's the easiest way to do this please? Is it just the 'database" I need to move or is there more to it than that?

Thanks in advance for your help...

See How to Backup User Data (there's also info there about restoring MultiCharts). If you changed the locations of MC files/directories, see here for how to re-find that setting and to locate the files.

If your old pc was 32 bit, but your new one 64 bit, see How to Migrate from MultiCharts 32 bit to MultiCharts 64 bit.
