Hi aljafp,

You can see fractional scale in the drop-down list in QuoteManager because from the very beginning we have keeping this type of scale in mind - for future implementation.

We do understand that this feature is very important. However, if you browse this forum you'll see that there are hundreds of requests for features that traders say are impossible to trade without. We can do only so much and only this fast given our limited resources and unlimited requests for highly important features from our customers.

On the other hand, if you see a symbol shown as a decimal and not as a fraction does that really make it impossible to use this symbol?

Of course we can trade it even if it is shown in decimal places, provided multicharts shows it properly....

Have you ever tried plotting T-Note futures with decimal places ?

Multicharts for some reason, will not round quotes to the nearest fractional equivalent properly .... sometimes there will be some trailing decimal places....

Say 1/128 is simply 0.0078125
If multicharts can plot all quotes as multiples of 0.0078125 in decimal, it will be fine...if not for the error i mention.. plot it yourself and you will see...

If your trading platform correctly displays fractional prices you have to mentally convert from decimal. In my opinion yes this does make it impossible to trade. This has been promised for so long now it has gone past being a joke.

See this thread from 2 years ago.....

Hi aljafp,

To check if MultiCharts converts those fractions into decimals correctly we ran a simple test:

Requested tick data in both MultiCharts and eSignal. Called up eSignals Symbol Monitor, and checked 'Decimal Display' field. The decimal values in eSignal's Symbol Monitor and MultiCharts were identical. Please see the attached screenshot.
