I am sure a large number of MC users have workspaces with overlapping charts. Many users have experimental workspaces, where we open/close and resize new charts all the time. It can become very difficult to remember all the open charts and such workspaces can become messy. I often find myself doing an accounting of all the open charts in a workspace and rearrange them to make it little more organized. However, sometimes I miss some overlapping charts. Such charts can remain hidden for months, all this time wasting computer resources.
It will be very helpful if attached with each workspace, MC can display the number of open charts in that workspace. The best place to have such information displayed is the title bar of Multicharts. currently, it displays information like "Multicharts - Untitled Desktop - ES" when I am on my workspace with the name ES. This workspace has 4 charts open. I am suggesting something like "Multicharts - Untitled Desktop - ES - 4".
I know this might seem like a trivial improvement to make, but in my opinion, it will lead to improved workspace management by users.
Better Workspace Management-Number of charts in a workspace
Re: Better Workspace Management-Number of charts in a worksp
Typically, a workspace will have only 1 scanner and only 1 order and position tracker window, so specifying number of these in the title bar is not required. For completeness, title bar can also show number of DOM and number of time and sales window.
So something like
"Multicharts - Untitled Desktop - ES - 4C - 2D - 0T&S"
if name of workspace is ES, and it has 4 charts, 2 DOM and 0 T&S open.
I am sure above can be implemented pretty quickly and will be helpful for people. One more bonus feature (which might be a little more complicated to implement) would be to display the amount of memory used by a particular workspace (if it is possible at all to compute this without too much error).
So, maybe something like
"Multicharts - Untitled Desktop - ES - 4C - 2D - 0T&S - Memory 320MB"

Some idea that i do to help me with my workspace order.
Not sure if it respond to your need
I opted to use a numerical order for each workspace
Same number for a same instrument. Always the same number
I EurUsd
2 GbpUsd
3 AudUsd
etc
And, with each workspace name, I added the time frame.
Each workspace using 1H will be in the same folder
I got folder for 15 Minute, 30 minutes , 1 hour, 4 hours, day
So my naming procedure will be
1_Eur.Usd_1H Chart for Eur.Usd with 1H time frame
2_Gbp.Usd_15_Min Chart for Aud.Usd with 15 minutes scale
1_Eur.Usd_30_Min
18_Usd.Jpy_4_Hours
