I recommend Advanced Diary and Trading Journal Spreadsheet.
Thanks, I'm looking for a solution external to Excel.

I created my tool to control and send orders using Excel and I don't have good experience with it when running another worksheet. I even installed the latest Excel 2013 (360) but not very stable when running macro's on both worksheets

I like Scrivener for its basic layout focused on writing and its tree-like sidebar for the overview of all small documents.

There's also the free RedNotebook (portable edition here) that is more a journal with an entry for each day.

There's also 'The Journal' for a 'real' journal.

I'll second arnie on that. I use Evernote for everything these days.
