N225M Custom Future Charting Issue

I am using IB as data source. I created a custom future for N225M (mini Nikkei 225) and it worked fine before.

However since 2015, the symbols for N225M contracts have been changed from something like 'NK225MM4' to a number e.g. '160010019'. Then a chart of this custom future can only show data up to 2014 Dec.

Anyone know how to fix this charting issue?

Custom futures algorithms need to be reworked in order to support the new instrument name of the N225M. We are going to add correct expiration date support for this type of instrument names in MultiCharts 9.1 Beta 1.

In MC 9.1 beta1, will the custom future for N225M includes both types of symbol names ('NK225MM4' type and '160010019' type)? If not, is there any way to combine the old and new (since 2015) data into a single chart?

Yes.

You can right now combine real-time and historical data into a single chart. It will not be the same as using custom futures instrument as some data will be missing:
Real-time data will be plotted only from the moment you have created a chart. Missing data between the last data point of historical symbol and current moment using realtime data will not be backfilled. That it is not possible to set a certain rollover point at which historical data will stop and realtime data will start.

In MC 9.1 beta 1 the Custom Futures for N225M will support both types of symbol names ('NK225MM4' type and '160010019' type) and will be able to get data from old instruments (before 2015) and new (after 2015) to plot it on a single chart.
