What are your settings in..

General MultiCharts window:
File -> Preferences -> Trading tab. There's an option there named 'show error pop-up alert'.

Perhaps disabling that setting can help.

Otherwise, you could try changing the following setting:

QuoteManager:
Tools -> Data sources -> Interactive Brokers -> Settings. There's also a checkbox for pop-up alerts there.

I have also suffered from this for three years.

No, neither of these settings have any effect in stopping the rash of TWS connectivity messages. I can sometimes get the error popups to stop by killing the MessageCenter.exe process.

I do not like to criticize someone else's hard work. But these popups really stand out as looking cheesy compared to the rest of MC.

1. Non-standard pink 2D dialog box?
2. Taking focus away from and blocking all other windows?
3. ...and don't disappear when the problem gets corrected.
4. On the primary monitor?
5. ...and they give no information that the user doesn't already get from TWS itself.

Please just get rid of them. Forever.

Hello Martin,

We are going to add an option for disabling these messages in MultiCharts 9.1 Beta 1.
