Help 6035 error !

Postby sptrader » 08 Jul 2015

I'm testing the new 9.1 beta and since 9.0, I have been getting a 6035 error- I think it has to do with a change in symbol mapping since 9.0, but mapping looks OK to me...
I can still trade through IB even with the errors are showing up but I'd much prefer to eliminate them when trading in a real acct..
Has anyone seen this problem and have a fix for it ???
(Win7 64bit, IB, latest MC9.1 beta, IQfeed..)

Hello sptrader,

6035 error means there is something wrong with the Chart Symbol. We have not faced such errors after the update on our end. Please send us the logs for this occurrence and export of the symbol mapping to support@muticharts.com for analysis.

Just a follow-up, I only mapped the symbols that I used for trading, turns out that ALL symbols in the mapping area must be deleted or mapped or you get the 6035 error...even the continuous contract symbols like @ES# etc. just map them to the current contract in IB ..
