Hi Andrew,
I am still trying to disect the issues I am seeing with the latest beta and Opentick. It seems really unstable to me with getting history data from Opentick, and the old version I was using prior to this beta release was pretty decent. I was wondering if you changed anything with the DLL interface to Opentick in this beta? I contacted Opentick about the history issue and they have not gotten back to me yet. Opentick is a great alternative to IB or ESignal as a backup. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Andrew,
I have been looking at the issues I am having with Opentick and the new Beta. I downloaded another 3rd party program example from their site which loads tick data RT and also lets you request history data. I don't seem to see the slow download times for history. Please let me know if there is a way I can help toi further debug the issues I currently see with your API to Opentick.
Thanks

MC, i just like to report that i am experiencing the same thing as kelly.Similar experience to report: I have been trying to use Open Tick as well for history data, and have been experiencing extremely long history download time - or just not loading at all.
I haven't seen these same issues using the NT connection to OpenTick.
Best,
Simon
Slow downloads using opentick with MC, but NT seems fine.

We need to know what exactly you requested (symbol, resolution, data interval) and how long does it take.Hi Andrew,

We need QuoteManager logs to see the problem.

Symbol requested /ESH8 1 min 30 days back - NT comes back with chart in approx 1 minute. At present, I am not getting a chart load from MC, even after approx 5mins, though I have to say, I have done so before.
Looking in the log, I am getting this error - though I am sure I have the correct credentials entered - and just used the same credentials in NT (which is now no longer connected to OT).
In the 1 min chart OT is set for realtime and historical data.

Opentick Issue
Hi,
Attached is a Workspace that I had trouble getting to load data from Opentick. The funny thing is when I create a new WS and load the same symbol from opentick the data comes in immediately. I think the issues we are seeing has to do with the WS and maybe how it gets corrupted. I hope this helps because I would really like to see a stable interface with Opentick as a feed.
Thanks
