Hello arnie,

This is not an issue, this is how it is designed to work.
Adding different display mode for fractional price scale has not been targeted to MultiCharts 9.1 Beta 2:

I thought 9.1 would finally remove that annoying and unnecessary "/32" quote.
You guys are the only ones that quote treasuries this way.
All brokers, all charts platforms use the simple quote 127'125 or even 127.125 but you guys continue to stick with 127 12.5/32.
This is something we are considering to improve. An update is to follow.

At the moment we have this improvement targeted to MultiCharts 9.2 Beta 1.

This has not been a good week start for me.
Is something off here or my brain just went blank?
Where do I set the $ value per tick?
2 ticks in ZN it's not worth €0.03.

Hello arnie,

Please make sure the proper Big Point Value is set for the instrument you are using in the QuoteManager:
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-soft ... Properties
You need to remove the symbol mapping for this instrument in order to apply the changes in the instrument settings.

Hello CrazyNasdaq,

The Trades Summary Report is based on the orders stored in the Order and Position Tracker Orders tab. There is no way to selectively remove orders - only all orders can be cleared.

Order and Position Tracker records are stored in the following folder:
MC 32bit: %ProgramData%\TS Support\MultiCharts\TradingCenter\Storage\
MC 64bit: %ProgramData%\TS Support\MultiCharts64\TradingCenter\Storage\
The folders are called corresponding to the OPT tabs. If you need to clear the Orders tab then you just need to delete the "strategy_orders" folder while MultiCharts and all of its processes are closed.

Beta 2

Postby TA100 » 25 Aug 2015

The behaviour of Track time and price in Beta 2 is different - in previous MC releases you could click to the right side of any chart and that would bring ALL charts Last bar into view - now if you don't click on the last bar of a chart ALL the charts line up in different places - surely that can't be intended?

Thanks

On the DOM the LOD and HOD markers do not update correctly, ie price trades straight through them and they don't move. Then later on they randomly decide to update. (I'm using CQG).

Hello TA100,

I'm not sure I am following. If you don't click on the chart then the charts do not line up. If you click on chart - all charts line up to the same bar. If it works differently for you - please attach a video demonstrating it or come to the live chat.

Hello Geoff,

Are you able to replicate this behavior? Do you have it on all CQG instruments?
Please attach a screenshot demonstrating the issue.

It happens on both EPU15 and EU6U15, that's all I'm trading right now. It can be replicated every time the market makes new highs or lows for the session.

Screenshot attached showing new low being made but LOD marker staying put.

Henry, there is no need to make a vid or come to a live chat session - just select Track Time and Price on a workspace with 4 charts of different time frames and a) move track time and price to last completed bar and b) move track time and price to a time in the future.

Notice the difference? The behaviour is TOTALLY different from all previous MC versions (and as it happens TS versions too). Track time and price used to fulfill 2 purposes a) Track Time and Price in the past and b) Bring the last bar of all charts in the workspace into view. So it looks like this beta just dropped b).

If I were you I would go to live chat.

I tested this and all is working as it should. Didn't noticed any difference.

On tick charts the time to the right of the current bar doesn't update so displays a time in the past.

Geoff thank you for posting your pic - that probably accounts for why 'Track Time and price' to the right side of the last bar is not working between different bar types... ie: does not update all bar types to the current bar.

Ok now I see what you mean. This is a known issue. The fix is targeted to MultiCharts 9.1 Beta 3.

I've ask to add the ability for changing the size of window OPEN and resize the column NAME. Both sizes shall be saved as closed.
Since beta2 works the resizing of OPEN window and is saved as closed.
Please add the resizing of NAME column too.

Thank you for the help.

Hello O66,

Which data provider and instrument do you use?
How often is this behavior replicated?
Were the charts/DOM windows for the other instruments from the same data provider updating when this behavior occurred?
Do you have MultiCharts logs for this case?
Please send us the workspace you are using and a screenshot of the data provider settings you are using to support@multicharts.com

Hello Geoff,

The DOM window shows the corresponding High/Low values from the Status Line of the chart. If the values are incorrect then you need to contact your data provider directly.
