I turned off the connection between multicharts and IB Gateway. After I reopen it and expect there is a trade. The "TIF not specified" signal was noted. and the message from the trade log is " Didn't receive final status for order OrderID = 52 ................" . I checked my setting in IB Gateway, I found that the box of API read only mode is clicked. But I still have trade before I turned it off last week.
Did anyone have experienced similar problem. is IB gateway always turn itself back to read only mode after restart?

Hello dingmanhoe123,
If you are running a demo account then the recent versions of IB Gateway/TWS reset the settings upon restart. If you are running a sim/live account then this should not be the case. If you switch between accounts then each of them should have individual set of application settings.

dingmanhoe123, if your IB Gateway settings are reset after restart - you need to contact IB support for assistance.
