Thomson Reuters Xenith data on MultiCharts - Feature Request

Postby DRCM » 27 Feb 2017

Hi everyone,

Thomson Reuters currently offering Xenith product for retail customers. It`s actually Thomson Reuters Eikon platform with some limitations. It`s invaluable source of data starting with stocks, futures, commodities and forex ending with more complex data like options, FX vols, forwards, swaps, interest rates, CoT, economic data, news and much much more. Also it is one of the most acurate data available. Currently you can get it only from Metastock guys, but you can buy it as separate product and costs only 150 bucks per month. They have an API to pull data to 3rd party software, but it can be accessible only for developers. We could get very powerful tool if MultiCharts guys could implement it into their platform. The other thing is if Thomson Reuters would like to give permission to MultiCharts to use their API, because it probably would kill Metastock sales, but in my opinion Metastock software is absolutely crap and not even comparable with MultiCharts. Institutional level data, backtesting possibility and trading platform all in one on MultiCharts platform could become a holy grail for retailers. Will submit a Feature Request tomorrow and hope that we`ll get enough votes to get MC to consider this idea. Thanks
