Using the same scanner set for each data source
Using the same instrument
Using 1 point bars
With data being stored on MC
---------------------- I am not getting all the data to make calculations for the entire day
Using Interactive brokers data-
The scanner will not count all the bars in a day even though data was running all day (get a count of 123)
A chart window will count 609 bars for the day
Using TS data-
The scanner will not count any bars in a day even though data was running all day
A chart window will count 1411 bars for the day
Guessing there are compression issues? Setting problem? Are there better data sources?
Thanks

Re: Scanner data issues
IB data are compressed to approx 250~300 milliseconds. Please see IB website for detail.
Re: Scanner data issues
Still, the charts count the days bars, although with different amounts of data from the two sources.
Suppose there is history to build charts and there is a test to find the start of the day that the scanner cannot.
Maybe I could try storing the data in the study.
