1. "MSVCP error" refers to a version of Visual C++ 2010 being damaged, or not installed on the system.

Download and install both the x86 and x64 versions. If a message pops up stating that the versions are already installed, then instead choose the repair option. Restart the system once the installation or repair is complete.
2. When the installation is complete, please go to MC installation folder and run DataUpdater.exe. This should fix the first issue.
